Rush Process celebrates DIY, handcrafted animation as a unique vehicle for self-expression. This international competition screening is an eye-opening hour of highly personal, animated shorts made with physical media. The program provides a kaleidoscopic view of non-digital animation currents, including narrative, documentary, and experimental films made with stop-motion, multi-plane, hand-drawn, charcoal, cut-out, paint-on-glass, and direct animation techniques. (Be sure to arrive early to join the reception and animate yourself in the GIF booth!)
